At last, a 3-panel with a point. Our suburban dream doesn’t include sidewalks, so walkers need not worry about sprinklers. They do need to watch for folks who commute while using their phones. And the occasional dog walker holding a leash for something big enough to eat a truck.
Actually, I once had a cross country coach direct his kids to run in the road because asphalt is not as hard (no, he didn’t use the word “softer”) than concrete and, as a result, less stressful on the knees. I wasn’t about to crawl around on my hands and knees on either surface to test his knowledge, but I DO know that when you fall down on either, it’s gonna hurt!

Around here, about half the sprinklers are right at the sidewalk. Aimed at the lawn. Which works FINE until the wind comes up. As it always does…
