the Cassidy Hutchinson testimony is a huge bombshell, it just hasn’t exploded (gotten Trump convicted of his crimes) yet.

Deja vu. I am reminded of the Clarence Thomas confirmation hearings, Joe Biden in attendance, with Anita Hill. As the witnesses lined up to testify, he said/ she said, and it deteriorated into a circus, it was finally allowed to pass mercifully with a vote. Then it was the Mueller investigation and report, with the ‘blockbuster evidence soon to be revealed’ which somehow never came to pass – ‘there was no collusion’ the final result. Later Kavanaugh, of course, comes to mind, with Christine Blasey Ford as accuser, and again, as more ‘he said/ she said’ witnesses began to assemble, it ended with a whimper, and a vote to confirm. Now, as Secret Service witnesses reportedly await re-call to the Jan 6 Committee to testify “that did not happen!”… Well, didn’t the whole Depp v Heard televised trial satisfy our crowd thirst for titillation and blood? Let’s move on. Trump has been vanquished; but then again, the left continue to mistake the Man for the Movement; Trump was just an avatar – a man who tapped into the populist right wing sentiment and movement that is Trumpism. Which lives on.

This is truly amazing. In the midst of the greatest crisis in American history as Trump tries to overturn the Rule of Law and Democracy itself to install himself as fascist dictator for life, the most pressing issue for the Conservatives here is whether or not Trump grabbed a steering wheel.
