This court has certainly lost all legitimacy and will go down as one of the worst in history.

Their decisions are on par with Dred Scott v. Sanford, Buck v. Bell, Korematsu v. United States, and Plessy v. Ferguson. They have taken away the rights of half of American citizens and injected (RW) religion into government, mostly through the actions of appointees one of the worst presidents in US history.

You ain’t seen nothin’ yet folks, they get to pick and chose cases they hear which will fit their very obvious agenda and change the face of this very divided nation, it will be hard if possible at all to undo the damage, the undoing of American freedom and it ain’t even the Muslims that did it.

He seems rather short. Is he kneeling in his shoes? Or this drawing representative of the diminished intellectual and ethical stature of the current SCOTUS?

There are mistakes. There are blunders. And then there are blunder-mistakes.

Supreme courts have been liberal and conservative in the past. Yet it seems that the conservative courts have always handed down the worst decisions. As examples consider these MAJOR blunder-mistakes: The Dred Scott decision, the Fugitive Slave Law decision, Plessy v Ferguson, and of course the numerous decisions which cut the legs from some of the New Deal policies during the Depression.

Without honor, respect, integrity, sincerity, and honesty, is this court really “supreme” in any way?

What good is the rule of law if the laws are malicious, cruel, inhumane, and unrepresentative of the majority?

I won’t be surprised to learn that six of them huddle around a pentagram in the Marble Palace basement. After all, three of them owe their jobs to the Antichrist.

The Chief Justice is now merely an administrator. It’s the Clarence Ginni-Thomas—Arrogant Alito court ruling with the Three Little Trolls.

About the only difference between a “chief” justice and an associate justice is that the “chief” assigns who writes opinions for the majority and minority. Having one of the three moderates (I refuse to call them the “liberals”) as “chief justice” wouldn’t have made much difference.

You don’t have to be a devil to make the awful, psychopathic decisions this court has made under this “man.” The conservatives who are actively trying to make America a right wing apocalypse are all too human.

It’s not the Roberts court. It’s the Thomas Court with a strong dose of Gorsuch thrown in for good measure. https://www.cnn.com/2017/10/08/politics/neil-gorsuch-john-roberts-rivalry/index.html

Roberts “legacy” includes Citizens United, which went much further than the initial case and enshrined the idea that Corporations are people and money is speech. Kennedy wrote that one but if Roberts thinks that will shift the blame from him, he is mistaken. CHIEF Justice should imply leadership.

BTW, speaking of Kennedy, did anyone ever look at his abrupt resignation? Deutsche Bank was laundering money for Russia and they were one of a few banks that would lend Trump money. Kennedy’s son was Trump’s banking contact at DB and somehow when A. Kennedy resigned, the investigation into his son stopped and Trump’s part in this was forgotten.

This is the guy who led the decision that corporations were people. This is the guy who led the decision that money was speech. And now, that abortion can be legislated out of existence. As far as I’m concerned this cartoon gets it right: he’s one of Satan’s minions.

the person who is probably most upset with the court makeup today is john roberts…for his tenure as chief justice he had control of every decision…now…he’s lost control of his court…his agenda….and his legacy…
