I guess Steve Kelley must be the guy being “hypnotized”. Who else would be that dumb or have such backwards priorities?!

Oh, right. WAY TOO MANY MORONS! . . .

. . . who would rather fixate on the price of gas, which has nothing to do with Biden, than be forced to reckon with the reality that they voted for a wannabe dictator who nearly destroyed Democracy!

Remember how cheap gas was before the Civil War. This all began with that RINO liberal socialist Abraham Lincoln.

SKelly, what happened WAS an insurrection, it was not an attempt at an insurrection. The insurrection was an attempted coup, aka, a violent attempt to overthrow the government of the United States.

Try to get your LIES straight.

AND, a pandemic along with the corresponding lower DEMAND for gas.

Why IS it that an existential threat to our democracy does not even seem to register with so many? Why won’t even ONE of the right wing commentators reject the traitor Flynn’s refusal to say that he supports the peaceful transition of power? I mean, I get “tribe”, but REALLY?

Joe Biden’s Presidency has been a total disaster. He is the George Castanza of politics. Beginning with the withdrawal from Afghanistan the highest gas prices, highest inflation, highest grocery prices, crime sprees across democratic run cities, the southern border disaster, begging for oil from the worst of the worst when we have all that we need here, to a SCOTUS nominee that can’t define a woman, to picking the worse V.P. in modern polling, he is a total joke, but dem’s are like “forget what you see all around you and look at this event from 2 years ago. See we are working on the things that will make your life better”.

So what if the MAGA government was a bunch of thugs who were ready to destroy democracy? Freedom won’t buy gas.

The insurrection was an attempt to install a dictator. All Americans should be very concerned about it. Inflation will come and go as will other problems But if we lose our democracy, we are in deep trouble.

US soldiers and citizens of many political persuasions made great sacrifices to defeat fascism overseas during WWII.

The GOP is making great sacrifices to cultivate domestic fascism, today. And here is Kelly’s sacrifice, throwing free-market principles under the bus.

They have no principles left to throw.

I have no doubt GOPers would gladly give Ukraine to Russia if it’d save them $1 for a gallon of gas.

Are you telling us that we should be more worried about gas prices than an attempt to over turn an election that was won?

By every definition of the word, that was an attempted insurrection… the only attempted insurrection in America’s modern history.

How could you trivialize that… either own up to it and say “yes it was an attempted insurrection, and I wish they succeeded”, or “yes it was an attempted insurrection, and a horrible attack on our democracy”

Because… there have been times in the past where insurrections were necessary in corrupt or oppressive governments.

But pretending it didn’t happen, or pretending it isn’t a big deal. That’s pathetic.

The conservative cognitive dissonance surrounding Jan 6 must be so painful which makes these folks so ugly and angry and bitter. I would feel sorry for them if they weren’t so violent.

Just one Nazi supporting another Nazi. Why did we fight WWII in Europe if this was the kind of government we wanted for ourselves? Of course, there was a major Nazi movement in America prior to the war headed by Charles Lindburgh and Henry Ford, both awarded the highest award given to a foreigner by the Nazis. Lindburgh got his from Hermann Goering himself.
