Yeah, the fake patriots pretend they are celebrating “freedom for all” when they are only celebrating their freedom to force others to obey their orders.

Different kind of noise. Equally use(ful/less)… though the verbal stuff is probably more harmful to our society and the black powder more harmful to our pets and the air.

It will be interesting to see how many women ignore what the SCOTUS just did to them and ironically celebrate Independence Day.

Not THIS year. Not with people overthrowing the government being covered up by people IN the government. Not with Supreme Court justices reducing a right for the first time in history for theocratic reasons. Not with one party supporting a known and obvious traitor and criminal.

My man John Adams would have gone ballistic by now.

No doubt the fireworks displays will be presented as “proof” that our cities are burning at the hands of leftyprogressocommusociANTIFAsquads.

Eight Republicans pick the worst possible place to celebrate July 4

“What does July 4th mean to me? Freedom,” Sen. Ron Johnson chirruped on Twitter on Independence Day.

So, what do we call these Red Square Republicans? My interlocutors on Twitter suggest “Moscow Mules.” Or, given the position they put themselves in before our masters in Moscow, perhaps they should be called the Prostrate Eight: Sens. Richard C. Shelby (Ala.), Steve Daines (Mont.), John Hoeven (N.D.), John Neely Kennedy (La.), Jerry Moran (Kan.), John Thune (S.D.) and Johnson, plus Rep. Kay Granger (Tex.).

America has its share of problems, inflation, recession fears, political strife, etc. But there’s no other country I’d rather be than the US of A. I would like it, though, if we didn’t snipe at each other so much. As Americans, we sink or swim together.

Sadly new poll highlighted that 73% of Republicans and 74% of Democrats feel the “other side” are bullys trying to force their views on them. The divisiveness in partisanship far exceeded anything to do with gender, race, religion, etc.

Good lord, just imagine a United States where the Progressives got everything they want or the far right got everything they want. In either case – just an f’ing disaster. Forcing devout Christians and Muslims to accept AND CONFORM TO LGBTQI… or progressives to accept no abortions and forced to EXPRESS AND ACCEPT religion is not acceptable to each side.

No longer are there compromises for incremental benefits for everyone. Instead it is “believe my way or else” resulting in negative consequences for everyone. The cancel culture is a horrible result. Hands over ears say NANANNANANANANANANA to avoid any dissent.

Too many commenters on this site are highlighting their hatred for the “other side.”

Not anymore it doesn’t. It seems it might become the favorite day for GOP voters to commit acts of terrorism. Which makes sense as Republicans hate actual freedom for all very much.
