How does she not already know this about her hubby? They have two kids old enough to be eating solid food.

Tell him the food is having a war to see which one tastes best.

My mother always teased me because I didn’t want food touching on my plate. I still don’t! My father and sister, on the other hand, would mush everything on their respective plates. I could not look at them eating! I honestly don’t know why, it just bugged me.

If it’s *meant" to be together, like stews or pot pies, it doesn’t bother me

If it’s touching, separate all the parts on your plate, then eat them one type at a time.

I’ve heard of people at the market who didn’t want the packaged food to touch on the conveyor belt.

My daughter is okay with foods touching, but she “deconstructs” everything, taking it apart into its components while eating it.
