When there are problems, we tend to forget those tender moments with our children, it’s good that there is a little girl who reminded her of that, because when the children leave, the parents are left alone!

These days, they leave, then they come back.

Look at it this way, John, at least you have ‘April’ and ‘Farley’ for a good while yet ! ! ! !

My older sister left and came back at least four times. I thought my parents were being very indulgent at the time. After I left, I stayed gone. :D (Granted, I got married and had a family, so had no motivation to “return to the nest”)

I live alone and getting the rooms to stay tidy and especially the floors to stay clean are still uphill battles.

My three-year-old nephew spent the weekend with my mother and stepfather. As they were driving him back home, he said, “I don’t wanna go!” My mother asked, “Don’t you want to see Mommy and Daddy?” My nephew thought about it for a moment, and then said, “I want to see Mommy and Daddy, but I don’t wanna leave!”
