We almost lost a blue duffle bag with a multicolor striped strap in Beijing – a Chinese woman had the identical bag and the identical strap. Luckily, she realized her mistake and was turning it in at Baggage Services when we arrived to report it. Hopefully she got hers.
I flew to visit my Mom and when I got there she added an orange thing she made, tied it right to my bag. Can’t even describe it. But now I always know which bag is mine. Look for the orange thingy.

I still carry the Lady Baltimore luggage I got when I graduated from high school. The company went out of business in the early 70s.
