Knowing the answer is always nodding your head and saying “Yes dear” has worked for 44 years.

You can compete but remain nice about it; just remember a game is not life and death and it is really possible to just laugh at goofs and have fun. I quit playing cards with my in-laws because I could not take hubs and bros yelling at their elderly mother. Suddenly the dog would need a walk and I would escape.

Yeah, I think that’s a major difference between males and females. My Lady Wife always accused me of being too competitive (She was right.) “Why can’t you just play for the fun of it?” It took me many years to realize that there could be fun in playing without having to win.

He’s also got a pro level Pickle Ball paddle and glove. The specialized shoes are a given.

A good marriage is a 50/50 arrangement, with each partner contributing 60%.

I’m like Marcus (not the giant part, the competitive part) but I’ve learned to let my wife win a few. Must be working, we still play games after 27 years!

I don’t think we’ve seen this in Marcus before. His main trait has always been how cheap he is. Gets it from his dad.

This seems a little out of whack for Marcus’ personality.

The secret to my long marriage is having a big house – - 2500 sq ft. He spends most of his time in one end while I’m in the other end.

What Marcy means is don’t over your jobs or who makes more money from the job. Jenga is ok. Running a 5k is not.
