Now, I’m sorry to contradict you, Petey, but Revered Sylvester Graham never invented the graham cracker. They were inspired by his temperance-based preaching, which recommended a bland, routine vegetarian diet based around coarsely-ground whole wheat bread.

As a matter of scholarly critique, I like his teacher’s frankness. But as a grading system for an 8-9 year old, not so much. He dug into a subject that intrigued him, and showed you the results of his research in detail. “Bah” indeed! I’d give him at least a B+.
