There is a publication that we used when we flew. It listed all registered airports with information on runway length and composition, elevation and navigation aides and included and its position in longitude and latitude.
For South Pole station the position was 90 degrees South.

These vanes may be great as souvenirs. But there is only one place where the directions on them would be true – and that is exactly at the North Pole.
