What does a loaf of bread say when breaking up with his girlfriend?

    You deserve butter.

Bread, the staff of life? When you get older, it tends to become the belly-fat-laugh of-life. My long lasting relationship with a faithful sourdough starter, alas, must end! It seems not fooled into eating and growing with Splenda instead of sugar.

My Gram’s home made bread was to die for and we only got it a couple of times a year when we went up to visit her, we live in PA and she lived in NY, she usually made some the day we were coming so we could get freshly baked when we got there and some to take home with us or she would try and remember to make a couple of extra loaves and freeze them for when we came up and it was just as good as when it was freshly baked. When she died my uncle, who still lived with her, gave my ex husband, wasn’t ex then, her receipe but he just couldn’t get it to taste like hers. Closest we came was when we made it with out bread maker but then that broke and we never replaced it so no more home made bread.
