Straight from the R and W playbook. Gil clueless and dormy for 90% of the story, then he says a few syllables and points a few fingers and presto! We are rewarded with a new plot to kick around. And we are hooked.

Apparently Mammma Hammmm had her makeover completed since we last saw her on Monday, as I predicted. Or maybe Whigham re-enrolled in matchbook art school. Naaah!

P1: " Which one? Is it op. cit., et al, ibid. or what, you moron!" P2: " Dear, I may have to off this guy for using a hyphen. I hate hyphens."

Panel 3. So now Gilpa is making appointments for his latest crush-his former student no less. What is he, her secretary?

Shouldn’t we be at the point of the story where a doctor who specializes Gregg Hamm Syndrome moves to Milford with his wife and two all-state linebacker kids?

Whighammmm is on quite the hand roll lately. This makes 5 strips in a row with big hands/fingers or dramatic hand gestures being featured. So the Hammburglar complains that Gillll was rude and insulting (or in the middle of that, whatever that means), but then apparently agrees Gillll was right? I’m just amazed that he was able to not change shirts over three days of panels in the coffee shop. Gillll wasn’t able to do it. And speaking of doing things, one thing you should be doing is hurrying over to read today’s Mopped Up Thorp.
