    I think if teachers are asked to arm up and protect against active shooters, they will probably quit the profession, and join the army instead; the pay is better, the medical coverage is better, and the other benefits Much better than what a teacher gets. If one is being asked to go on the firing line, one may as well get the combat pay for being there.

    Not too many years ago a teacher having a gun at school was taboo. Now they are suppose to adapt and shoot. But guns aren’t a problem?

    Sounds as if it were a good way to Manufacture and put into the schools a million or more Guns and just another ploy to raise funds for lobbyists to back useful Idiot Republicans running for a Power grab , , , think Brown Bess re-loaders, go for armor piecing ammo . . . just Sayin’ !

    i think this would be win for the shooters actually. Instead of them having to buy the weapons themselves, the state is thougtfully providing the guns in the classroom themselves.
