Some of us clean when it needs cleaning and don’t wait for a certain time of year.

That’s a nice try to say: “Make my chores, Brutus”

Brutus needs to learn to quit while he’s behind. Wait, he’s always behind.

As Mister Spock would say, ‘that housewife’s logic is infallible. Puts me to shame.’

This guy is an enabler.

HA!! Seems like she walked Brutus right into that one!

She’s slow to spring to action.

Oh wow the changes in Brutus’s expression are priceless. Curiosity, surprise, confusion, to a final, “yeah I could see that coming.” In the third and fourth I also see worry that she’s going to expect him to pitch in. Great strip Chip!

Wait – is that an add machine? Good Lord. Shades of the 50’s. Is Brutus also late doing their taxes? Shame shame.

While people sometimes say, “I should have spent more time with family members”, no one ever said, “I should have spent more time cleaning during springtime.”
