If Earth were under observation by an extrasolar intelligence, they would wonder why we provide so many weapons that are used to kill each other.
They would wonder why we would charge any fee to cure our fellow creatures of disease.
They would wonder why superstition is taught to our young instead of science and math.
They would wonder why elements of the public media are actively trying to destroy the democracy that some countries are built on.
They would wonder why we elect truly stupid people to lead us, who only care about themselves.
Finally, they would conclude that far too many of the inhabitants of this planet are dangerous, violent, and primitive creatures that seek to improve their own lives at the cost of others and the planet.
