The only legal guns we should have in the US are those that were available when the Constitution was sign. Those were the arms the signers were talking about.
Our crippled, uncooperative, mutually-exclusive, dysfunctional, winner-take-all, opposing political system unwilling to collaborate/compromise, has left the American people divided, without hope of common goals or trust/respect for one another. As long as there are untrusting people — lacking self-respect/confidence — that feel others are out to do them in for imaginary horrible reasons that only a gun can protect them from, they will defend themselves with their weapon or die trying.
If our politicians stopped selling their votes to the highest bidder, things would be better. Called “campaign contributions”, sometimes, but more often just plain dark money.
Thank the NRA and George W. Bush for not continuing the assault weapon ban. It would not have prevented all of the deaths, but it would have prevented many of them.

All it would take is simply electing people who think that keeping people alive is a great idea. And some spine on their parts, thereafter.

People are all too willing to whip out a firearm when they feel wronged somehow.

It was about time for more “Thoughts and Prayers”. And, more “Guns, guns, guns” from the NRA.

What’s the big deal?
Just another guy expressing his rights under the second part of the second amendment.
It’ll happen again soon, thanks to gun violence advocates.
