The guillotine is – still – the most humane method of execution ever developed.

Seems fentanyl works just fine… cheap too.

I remember President Obama patiently took a speech disguised as a question by a presumably foreign correspondent at a press conference. He listened for three minutes as she went on and on. The President took the time to listen and respond respectfully. I couldn’t find that press conference on YouTube. Good job, Mr. President, no “you’re a nasty woman” answers his entire two terms.

Murder by the state is still murder.

The real reason, of course, is that the Government wasn’t willing to pay enough for the execution drugs… ☺

I cannot imagine any method of execution more terrifying than lethal injection. When I was put under for spine surgery, forty years ago, I remember clearly how my body felt like it was going away, from the feet up. I believed I would wake up again, but how would I have felt if I knew I would not? Lethal injection may be painless, but it is very inhumane.

State killing is barbaric and unnecessary.
