I would be willing to bet serious money that she doesn’t sleep with the orange mistake. In the meaning “actually sleep” anyway… but the other way isn’t all that likely either, imo.
Please understand that I’m here attempting to explain a social phenomenon that occurred in certain Northern urban centers after World War Two:
Waves of people from Southern states, with the characteristic “Southern” twang (White and Black), moved to Northern states where at that time industrial jobs were expanding around places like Detroit and Chicago.
They brought certain characteristics of their culture with them in terms of music, food, and family that sometimes didn’t comfortably fit in with residents already there. (A burlesque of this provided the basic theme for “The Beverly Hillbillies.”)
To call somebody White a “hillbilly” was to infer they were socially inferior. A worse term was “white trash.” (The term for Blacks was at first the “N-word” that morphed into “colored” that morphed into the various -American hyphenations.)
It was bigotry that caused social tensions for a while, and still does to a great extent — although, it is less for Whites since “hillbilly” cultural artifacts in music pervade our culture, and skin color makes inter-marriage less controversial. Families originally from the South could become socially upwardly mobile and comfortably blend in — younger members even, ironically, moving back South for better job opportunities.
I haven’t heard the word “hillbilly” used in a pejorative way for years, and then spoken only by older people. It might even be a term of pride now.
Even Trump Can’t Make Sense of His Own Dark-Money Maze
A n inquiry from the feds has thrown new light on the murky relationships between a dozen Trump-aligned groups. And the problem traces back, as do so many other problems in Trumpworld, to a familiar name: former top aide Corey Lewandowski.
When Lewandowski got himself fired from a pro-Trump super PAC last fall—after allegedly sexually assaulting a big donor—the group brought in a clean-up crew. When Lewandowski refused to step down, they opened up a new super PAC without him.
That super PAC—the preposterously titled “Make America Great Again, Again!”—was the 12th in a sprawling labyrinth of political groups and nonprofits that comprise the Trump fundraising network. And in terms of the incestuous confusion, it may have been the one that finally tipped the scales; federal election officials now want to know why some of the super PAC’s payments aren’t being properly reported.
During a closed-door speech Monday to the National Republican Congressional Committee, former President Donald Trump told the invited guests that “we” are coming back with “vengeance” in an apparent reference to his as-yet-unannounced decision to seek a return to power in 2024.
When I was living in West Virginia, I was told anyone from Ohio was a Buckeye. Having no idea what that meant, I looked it up. Dictionary said a Buckeye was a useless nut….

“It is worth emphasizing: All of this is totally unprecedented for a former president,” Fischer told The Daily Beast. “Even if Trump kept it simple, and just had one hard money PAC, a single super PAC, and a pair of 501©(3)/501©(4) nonprofits, there would be no parallel with any former president in American history.”
