Why should they be any different than the folks who lived here already.

Women are far too emotional to make rational decisions. It takes old men (and preferably white) to give it considered thought. /S

Alito goes back to 1650, to a man who had two women executed for witchcraft for his reasoning… Sir Matthew Hale also had many of those he found guilty of state offenses, “drawn and quartered” … so maybe we can look forward to that too…. “The Apprentice, Drawn and Quartered Edition” who would host such a show?

Women aren’t mentioned in the Constitution. And there’s a long tradition of oppressing them. Our conservative judges love tradition!

Maybe only women should get to vote on women’s reproductive rights.

They no longer have power over you. This is their last ditch attempt at scaremongering. Just walk away and ignore them.

Well, let’s remember it was men who gave us the decision leading to Roe in the first place.

The Constitution contains over 4,500 words, none of them are Jesus, Christianity or the bible.

Jimmy Kimmel struggled to find the right words to sum up his feelings about the Senate vote that failed to protect abortion rights on Wednesday. “Shocking, unfathomable, stupefying maybe?” he said during his late-night monologue. “Yes, a stupefying day in the history of this country.

“Every Democrat voted in favor of the bill,” Kimmel explained, “except Joe Manchin, who voted with his fellow Republicans.” He then noted that Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer called for the vote “so we would know where Republicans stand,” adding, “Turns out, they’re standing in the year 1865.”

“It’s never just one question, it’s a series of questions. I imagine him sitting in a leather chair, with a smoking jacket, in the study Sherlock-style, pondering the implications of his discovery,” Meyers joked. To drive it home, he then put on his best posh accent, and acted out exactly how that would go.

“Is it possible that China is using a hurricane gun to attack us? And if that is the case, would the use of such a weapon not constitute an attack against a sovereign country?” Meyers dramatized. “And if, as international law stipulates, a sovereign nation has the right to defend itself when attacked by an aggressor nation, does that not then imply that the logical response would be to respond with a weapon of our own? Perhaps — and I am merely brainstorming here — a tornado cannon!”

Meyers then wondered if Trump’s belief in a weather weapon was perhaps why he was “so obsessed” with how much water came down as a result of Hurricane Florence. The late night host then played a selection of clips in which Trump talked about how “tremendously wet” that hurricane was, compared to previous ones.

Joking aside though, Meyers took a moment to address why a weird theory like this matters in the grand scheme of things.

“Trump’s unhinged conspiracy theories matter, because they are the core of the modern GOP, a party that has repeatedly said Trump is their leader and if they get their way, will put Trump back in power in 2024, either by winning or finishing off the coup they started in 2020.”

I take my stand o0n abortion from the women in my family. Whether the Caucasian side or the Native American side, none of them want abortion on demand. Even the registered Democrats.

One of my rare perks in here. Same lies, disinformation and propaganda. Not going to feed you with hits MTB. So long for a few more months, then I’ll give another look to see if you have moderated in any way. Doubt you will. You’re just too full of bigoted hate and intolerance.
