Don’t worry — some of us understand! Some of us understand that Asians have lived and been born in the U.S. since at least the 19th century and are not all “foreigners”! Some of us understand the differences amongst Asians, even though some nuances might confuse us. I’m sorry you have to live with the misunderstandings. The more you can tolerate them and explain, the more people learn.
Wow! You have so much on your mind and worry so much on what people think that you are overlooking on what really matters around you. Who cares what people think. Just be the person you want to be. Be yourself. Surround yourself with “real friends” and be strong! And make your own choices. That’s what really matters. Be safe!
