Gooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooood morning, Locos! Rode my bike for 36 miles and the temperature was 68 degrees. Also, 42 years ago today (May 18th) Mt St Helen blew her top. I had a front row seat to see it unfold. It went from the 5th highest peak in the state to the 30th in a matter of minutes. I’ll never forget it.
Shika Lublin is not related to Dublin. It has several “twin towns and sister cities” including Erie PA, Lublin WI, and Windsor Canada.
If you take a look to your left, you can see The Krakowska Gate (The Cracow Gate) – Museum of History of the city of Lublin. It is “one of the symbols of the city, was constructed in the 14th century along with the city walls. Its name originates from the historic route leading from Cracow via Lublin to Vilnius. It was an observation point for the fire brigade, and the city’s bugle-call was played from it as well. It was also inhabited by the clockmaker servicing the gate’s clock”
