We seem to have some perspective issues, the tree looks more like a plank, and what is with the funny notches on each side?

I don’t think that tree thought that plan through.

This leaves me with more questions than comics about trees usually do…

It’s not an Ent, though one might consider Garfield a halfling, though with his rotundancy more like an three/fourthling.

Garfield will have a heck of a time climbing down the tree!

The tree need not worry, the lazy feline would not even try clmbing.

The tree should worry less about Garfield and more about carpenter ants, termites and woodpeckers.
