There should not be any jobs guaranteed for life – especially on the supreme court . Also , their pay should be about the same as a top notch nurse , no more . This should deter dorks who are motivated by greed from wanting the job. The judges should be motivated by a desire to provide honest public service , not by a desire to have a high paying job for life – at taxpayers’ expense !
One of the criticisms one sees lodged against the so-called “pro-lifers” is that “they’ll do everything they can to see that you get here, but after that, you’re on your own”. That is, there is precious little support for prenatal care, education, contraception, adoption services, etc., etc.: you whelp the kid and that’s it from us. This makes me wonder if the so-called “pro-choicers” take steps to provide — or even offer — such support (in addition to post abortion mental heath or counseling service) to women after the procedure, whether it be surgical or pharmaceutical: you abort the kid and that’s it from us.
