Oh Fred, please come to my house and show Stella how to eat! No matter how much extra goodies we put in to entice her, she picks at it like it’s poison. We really do give her the finest and freshest.
Bella will eat about 2/3 of her meal, then come and ask me for her nightly dog biscuit. After she enjoys that, she will go back and eat the rest of her kibble. Apparently, she enjoys having 3-course meals.

We’re kindred spirits, Fred. I do the same thing. It’s always a very satisfying ending and the best part of the meal.

My cat does that. Leaves just a bit and then comes back in 30 seconds to finish it off (not that Fred left). “Yum! I’ve been fed twice!”
