The fish did not suffer the bows and arrows of outrageous misfortune. Curls got no fish that day – I guess it was just not to be.

If he wanted to catch the fish, he’d have lines on those arrows. I guess he just wants to kill them.

They should be in a barrel.

Have you ever noticed that in movies when people use bows and arrows in combat, they are given the order to “fire?”

I think the correct term is to “loose” but that doesn’t sound as keen.

The fish took my fishing rod. Taken by a really big Northern Pike.

It looks like he is not compensating for refraction. He’ll never hit anything that way.

Best attach a vine to those arrows or all you will do is provide lunch for bottom feeders. Which reminds me, I need to talk to someone about a will.

Arrows are expensive in paleolithic culture, shoot a deer. Better eating anyway.

He could have invented the crossbow, or better yet, the harpoon if he attached a line to the arrow.

I still have my rods even though I bow fish when I have the opportunity, though there aren’t many places to do so near me.

Invent dynamite or gunpowder and you’ll be on to something.

I think some people do go fishing this way, but with a length of string attached to the arrow. (The fish has to be very close to the surface for it to work; otherwise the water slows it down too much.)
