No. Nice image, but no. It suggests competence and functionality in Trump’s part. Trump is non compos mentis, virtually in a coma except when his handlers (in the employ of the GOP) give him drugs so he can make a rare public appearance. He might even have died since his last public appearance — they sure wouldn’t tell you if he had. The GOP is trying to figure out who else from within their ranks can command the same fanatical loyalty that Trump has; once they do, they’ll probably off him if he isn’t already dead.

Trump pardoned Steve Bannon as one of his last acts in office. 2 other associates in Bannon’s criminal case just admitted to fraud.

Two defendants in the “We Build the Wall” fraud case entered guilty pleas Thursday.

Both admitted to conspiracy to commit wire fraud and money laundering as well as lying on a tax return.

Supporters’ donations were diverted into a nonprofit linked to Steve Bannon, Trump’s longtime advisor who was pardoned in the case.

Two of the defendants in the “Build The Wall” fraud cases that involved Steve Bannon entered guilty pleas in federal court on Thursday.

Brian Kolfage and Andrew Badolato pleaded guilty to charges of conspiracy to commit wire fraud and money laundering, making false statements on a tax return, and wire fraud in connection with filing a tax return.

Bannon — Trump’s longtime advisor — faced charges as well in the case; Trump pardoned Bannon in the final hours of his presidency in 2020.

Prosecutors alleged that some of the money sent to We Build the Wall — a group raising funds to pay for a wall on the Mexican border — was diverted to nonprofits linked to Bannon.

In court in New York on Thursday, the pair admitted told the public that 100% of donated funds would go toward building a wall on the southern US border.

Trump started with a roaring economy, and in 4 years he:

lost 5 million jobs, added 9 trillion dollars to the deficit, lost the senate, the house and the White House for the Republicans, killed more Americans than Hitler did with his totally incompetent approach to Covid 19, attempted a coup, got banned from social media and got impeached twice. Still the apparent leader of the republican party of traitors, liars and thieves.

FBI says Proud Boy tried to derail Jan. 6 investigating by menacing agent

A Florida man has been arrested for allegedly pepper spraying officers at the Capitol on Jan. 6, and who law enforcement officials say then allegedly made a menacing call to the FBI special agent investigating his role in the riot.

Barry Bennett Ramey, who officials say was affiliated with the Proud Boys, was arrested in Florida on Thursday, according to court records. He is facing charges of assault on federal law enforcement officers with a deadly or dangerous weapon; obstructing law enforcement; entering or remaining on restricted grounds with intent to impede; knowingly engaging in an act of physical violence while using or carrying and deadly or dangerous weapon; and an act of physical violence on Capitol grounds.

Earlier this month, according to the FBI affidavit, Ramey called the FBI special agent investigating his case and read aloud the agent’s home address. He then texted the agent the agent’s former vehicle identification number.

The FBI affidavit, which also cites “information FBI Miami obtained from multiple confidential human sources,” says that Ramey “was listed on a master list of Proud Boys members in Southern Florida.”

The Proud Boys are a group of Trump supporters who describe themselves as a group of “Western Chauvinists” and have a record of attending events where violence erupts. Trump, asked during the 2020 campaign about the group supporting him, told the Proud Boys to “stand back and stand by.”

‘Oh No, Wait!’: Marjorie Taylor Greene’s Own Words Haunt Her

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) was grilled under oath in court Friday as she sought to defend her place on the ballot for this year’s midterms—and had some trouble keeping track of her own wild past statements.

Greene insisted she couldn’t remember much throughout her testimony Friday as she was asked about her involvement with the Jan. 6 insurrection at the Capitol. Greene’s status on the May 14 primary ballot was challenged by a Georgian voter, who argued she should be disqualified due to her encouragement of Congress not certifying Joe Biden’s 2020 win.

“I do not remember” was Greene’s response to multiple questions about whether she spoke to government officials about the run-up to the Capitol attack, including election deniers Reps. Andy Biggs (R-AZ) and Paul Gosar (R-AZ) and anyone in the White House.

Courtroom erupts in laughter as Marjorie Taylor Greene gets accused of stealing a line from Independence Day

“We aren’t a people that are going to go quietly into the night.”

“Now, that phrase … that’s not something that you came up with on your own, is it?” attorney Andy Celli asked Greene.

When Greene replied that she had no idea what Celli was referring to, the attorney said, “Well, that’s something that you borrowed from a movie script, right?”

“I don’t know what you’re talking about,” Greene said.

“You borrowed that line from the movie ‘Independence Day,’ right?” Celli asked.

At that point, Greene began to laugh, as well as others in the courtroom. “No,” Greene replied as she continued to laugh.

Celli then played the relevant clip from “Independence Day,” but Greene insisted there was no connection.

Greene says she can’t remember if she urged Trump to impose martial law to stay in power ahead of Jan. 6

Greene also was repeatedly asked on Friday about her Twitter posts and past statements, including several in which she alluded to the use of violence against her political opponents, including House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.).

On Friday, Greene repeatedly said she did not recall many of her past statements or was not certain who may have “liked” certain posts using her account.

Greene was asked about a now-deleted 2019 video in which she called on supporters to “flood the Capitol building, flood all the government buildings” and feel free to use violence “if we have to” to get the federal government to address their “huge list of grievances.”

“We can do it peacefully,” Greene said in the video. “We can. I hope we don’t have to do it the other way. I hope not. But we should feel like we will if we have to, because we are the American people.”

Greene said she did not recall making the statement.

Marjorie Taylor Greene forced to admit she called for Pelosi to get death penalty

Georgia Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene was left scrambling to avoid committing perjury on Friday after an attorney representing voters seeking to disqualify her from this year’s election ballot confronted her with video of past statements in which she accused House Speaker Nancy Pelosi of “treason” and suggested the California Democrat should be executed.

Speaking at an administrative hearing before a Georgia judge, attorney Ron Fein promised “direct evidence” that will show Ms Greene used “hashtags and memes and ways of communicating among internet subcultures” to express support for the worst attack on the Capitol since 1814, and said Ms Greene herself will be “the most powerful witness in establishing that she crossed the line into engagement of insurrection”.

“You’ll hear her words of course on the stand, what she says and what she doesn’t say. You’ll also hear what she said in the past … some of that will be in somewhat coded or veiled language, but you’ll also hear in some cases, the mask falls and she shows us exactly what she intended,” he said.

After Ms Greene was sworn in as a witness, attorney Andrew Celli asked her if she had ever called Ms Pelosi a “traitor to our country”.

The Georgia Republican replied immediately: “No, I haven’t said that”.

After a moment, the attorney asked for an exhibit to be called up for viewing, at which point Ms Greene interjected: "Oh no, wait, hold on now! I believe that by not securing the border that violates her oath of office”.

The video, which was taken during a 2019 political rally in Washington, showed her doing exactly what she initially denied.

In contrast to Ms Jane-b-clueless above, I find plenty of humor in this one.

The DNR tag (toe tag?) on the rejected congress critter.

The clearly rejected box of cannoli.

The knitting basket next to Ivanka, along with the scarf – clearly intended as a gift for you-know-who.

The son in law’s hand in his coat pocket..

And if I could see enough of it the lettering on a case in the lower left, but mostly hidden. I just know that would be funny. My best guess is that the second word is “files”.
