Reminds me of an old Far Side where the vet tells a cat, “Have someone trick you into taking one of these every four hours.”

My dog usually takes peanut butter crackers with crunchy centers, but whatever works.

Hah!!! This was exceptionally cute and funny!

It works for people, too. Pills go easier if they have company. But don’t chew the pills.

It’s an old trick but it works with dogs. Unfortunately, cats can do surgery with only their teeth and have no problems eating around the pill.

How many licks does it take to get to the curiously crunchy center???

I wish my BP pills were cheese wrapped.

Side effects may include acute intestinal gas.

In an alternate reality, Jean-Luc Picard became a veterinarian.

We had a Newfoundland cross. Giant as she was, she would unfailingly find the tablet/pill in the center and carefully spit it out. Politely, mind you.
