I-can’t-believe-how-long-this-is-taking oatmeal, otherwise known as steel-cut Irish oatmeal.
I just saw Instant Cream of Rice. Regular Cream of Rice takes two minute to cook. The instant cost 10x the regular. Cooks in one minute. Nice new corporate “times is money” interpretation!
I always go for the Original Recipe New Improved.
I find my attitude to oatmeal much improved by calling it gruel.
What cruel fortune that I’m not allowed to eat it.
