I LOVE grilled or fried oysters. Spouse, not so much. So I get ’em when we go out and she gets something fresh fish instead. But, yeah, I do often need a “digestive supplement” to help with that greasy crust.

I suspect with that many clams, digestive correction is something that acts like a cork

I’m walking on the wild side when I have some ROOT BEER.

Somehow all-you-can-eat seafood sounds unappetizing. You rarely if never want to eat that stuff from the lowest bidder. ;-)

Well … at least he’s been warned.

My “wild side” contains bacon … lots of bacon! (Followed by several hours of loud complaints from my decidedly tame stomach!)

Wonder if she would feel the same about fried calamari.

I made the mistake of visiting the nearby buffet on seafood day. Not a good first impression.

Better hope their toilets are working.

I love fried clams….it’s just that they don’t like me. Too greasy. Now. if you’re talking raw oysters on a half shell, ……pass the hot sauce and get me a cold beer!

Might as well start some time. When you’re already in the hurt locker you might as well earn the burn all the way.

Riding down the new Interstate, HoJos on overpasses and “All you can eat fried clams”. Are there any HoJos left?

At my age, just walking down the street puts me on “the Wild Side.”

Nothing like riding next to a gassy senior. They can’t hear, so they think no one else can either. Brrraaappp! Hey Hun, the windows not open cause I’m hot. Can’t breathe.

More methane in the atmosphere.

Much to my bride’s horror, I have been blessed with a cast-iron stomach and can eat just about anything with tummy complaining – especially very hot and spicy foods!

That said … one of the secrets of my survival for 76+ years is that whenever possible I’ve always avoided fried foods – especially in restaurants!

This was, originally, a matter of taste, rather than health consciousness. Even as a kid, I wasn’t fond of fried or greasy foods.

Where is Howard Johnson’s when I need them?

It’s “all you can eat”, not “you eat it all”.

And after seven p.m., you daredevil.

Wait until she sees “Fried Oreos” on the dessert menu.

If they ain’t Ipswich, count me out.

I do not like a single clam. I do not like them Sam I am. I do not like them fried or steamed. I do not like them in chowder creamed.

We’re all on the wild side when you DON’T use your digestive supplements. I’m outa here.

Hey,I remember Howard Johnson’s and their all you can eat Fish Fries!!And “Tendersweet Fried Clams”(also sold frozen0 were just as popular.

Good luck finding scallops,the beds are way below average.

Baxter’s in Hyannis,Mass. for the best fried seafood.

I really miss Ipswich clams… one of the few dining items I cannot get in Chicago.

Carpe Diem today was two guys on an island, and one guy told the other to stop talking since “no island needs an influencer”.

Decades ago now, Red Lobster had all you could eat shrimp. My parents, sister, brother in law and I went and I got them. After the fourth refill, they got up and left so I had to quit. Don’t give me a challenge and expect me not to accept it.

Oh, I do miss New England seafood! Lobster, steamers, quahogs, cherry necks, …

We had an all you could eat fish house, but it was too near the college to survive student’s ability to inhale fried seafood.

Mmmm, fried clams…

The only problem with Fried Clams is when you get a batch they forgot to Peel.
