Well, that was a slight disappointment.

Yeah, they usually make fun of the team for about a week, but then they stop, until they get another dumb name. I hope that one day, they’ll get a good name.

3.14/10 This joke is poor, and the arc will just be Nate and his team being made fun of with lame insults. If Pierce is going to recycle arcs, he should at least recycle entertaining ones.

Nate in the fourth panel looks more terrifying than sarcastic.

It could be a long arc…

40 years gets you tired, guys. No wonder his arcs are “lame”. Big Nate is probably older than most of you guys, because I highly doubt 50 year olds would be reading this.

…they’ll stop laughing at THAT name when the guys get yet another sponsor next year who’ll dish up yet another dumb name…….then the laughing will begin anew……….

No one is forcing anyone to view the strip. This isn’t texas.

Sarcastic Nate is back. I would rate this strip 9/10 for Coach being supportive but Nate was complaining so much in this arc! If this arc continues on the 11th, I would rate this whole thing 9.5/10 but Mr. Peirce did a great job on this strip. I wonder when we’ll have another girlfriend arc because I know Lincoln Peirce is trying to express that Nate is a failure with girls, but I would love to have another arc where Nate gets a girlfriend.

Wait. If Coach Calhoun knows that the name sucks, why doesn’t he change the name?

Okay, Pierce, you finally gave the team a great name, and I would be more understanding if you gave an actual REASON why Nate and Coach think it sucks. I mean, Cheez Linda, The Doormats, Joe’s Tacos, they all make sense why they suck. But Cellar Dwellers? That name is far better than the others. 3/5.
