It’s all going to… eventually… come home to roost. About which:

1 I hope they’re alive to appreciate that they’re not allowed to say “ouch, it hurts”. A lot,

2 It’s a stinking big Pile O Sh-tuff that real people are being harmed, sometimes lethally, while this goes on.

More and more people are finally realizing that this vile, religiously motivated evil from christian conservatives doesn’t belong anywhere in the 21st century. Abbott and DeSantis want desperately to bring back the days of Torquemada and 15th christian rule with them as leaders of a modern day inquisition.

Note the ’’S’’ on the shield mimics the ’’S’’ in Schutzstaffel. Not a coincidence.

I’d be OK with the Florida bill if it held itself to banning classroom instruction on “sexual orientation or gender identity” in kindergarden through 3rd grade. But that critical sentence contains an “or”; “or in a manner that is not age-appropriate or developmentally appropriate in accordance with state standards”. The rest of the bill has mainly to do with parental rights. It reads nice, but I expect the whole bill to be used to support the hot button issue de jour.

Brian has depicted DeSantis as far less stupid-looking than in reality.

Vulnerable, diversity, fetus, entitlement, transgender, science-based, evidence based. Ring a bell? All are words banned in 2017 by Cheeto von Clownface, from being used by the CDC.

Sad Florida feels the need to pass a law to keep schools from coaching 5,6,7,8-year-old kids on their gender. Seems WOKE Progressives weren’t satisfied in teaching high schoolers on the proper way to roll a condom on to a banana. Now they want to start much younger. Not all Tomboys want a penis or male dancers a vagina if they do let the family help them, if the parents want help, they can ask for it. DeSantis/Abbott 2024.

^^^^I don’t know about you, but I knew from an early age what sex I was and when I hit puberty, nothing anyone said or did would have changed my orientation. I was lucky in that I fit into the “norm.” Kids are what they are and nothing is going to change it. What we ARE trying to do is make those who don’t fit in gender norms feel comfortable about it rather than be ostracized like they were when I was young.

As to parents – WOW, you have no idea how hateful and harmful some parents can be to those not fitting into gender norms. I thought it was bad when I was young. Kids I knew committed suicide and we all knew why. My LGBT friends who are my age (six or more decades) told me of the hell they went through and the self loathing they learned from their parents and their churches. Unfortunately I still see it going on.
