@Eldo Today’s strip IS funny, our HERO Mr Andrew Capp is so used to being charged with demeanours that he automatically started finding alibis is priceless :o) my avatar is a picture of a wife accidently pouring coffee on her hubby’s lap , that could not happen to me , I don’t like coffee, how was your day? our should be alittle busy but we will cope i hope , we both are in a good mood no shopping to do or errands to run , just keep inside the house and keep hydrated because it’s windy and freezing outside keep safe and catch you later pal

Instead of betting on horses, Andy needs to bet on his tongue for slipping so fast

News travels fast, Andy. But maybe not quite that fast.

That’s not the worse part he threw me in the canal after.

I don’t think G&G yet understand how the mind of Andy Capp would work. Having been arrested and locked up numerous times one learns to keep ones yap shut in front of police. And the missus.

“You can’t arrest me for robbing that bank—I was busy robbing a completely DIFFERENT bank!”

It’s a beautiful day in the neighborhood.

Andy doesn’t need to read about the horses to bet on the wrong horse; he does that naturally.

In this country, we have the right to not incriminate ourselves.

Probably a good thing for Andy that he and Alan are on first name terms.

Today’s strip reminds me of a Calvin and Hobbes strip from September 1990 which made the first mention of the Noodles Incident:
