I spent my entire military career staring down the USSR in the Cold War. When the Soviet Union broke up, we all thought that would end it, that the Russian people would finally be free to join the rest of the civilized world. We were wrong.
But what upsets me most is the Fifth Column here in the US, cheering on Putin’s murderous ways. It’s sick.
