John Calvin and Thomas Hobbes were traipsing in the woods one day. Hobbes said, “This is exceeding strange! You died four and twenty years before I was born.” Calvin did not reply, as he was dead.

    Hobbes got the last word.

Why was it that I was not surprised that some of the commentators would take a philosophical question and made it political?

The Devil made you do it… Let’s see… The serpent convinces Eve to eat the fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil and then Eve convinces Adam to eat the fruit and mankind has been awful ever since. Man gets blamed for the sins of the world even though it was the female who ate it first.

A hundred thousand years ago, early human tribes gathered around bonfires, plotting how to go kill that other tribe and take their stuff before they came to kill us and take our stuff.

    Technology advanced. Humans didn’t.

The political back and forth here makes me laugh out loud. I always wonder how so many people can stand there and scream out,, “Your corporate puppet is worse than my corporate puppet”, never seeing beyond their short sightedness that neither are “for the people” unless those ‘people’ wear Armani suits and live in wealth.
