“Is my dead snake still up there?”

If you think the top is nasty you should see what’s under a refrigerator that hasn’t been moved for several years.

Our cat brought in a live mouse once and let him go. It took up residence behind our fridge. It took us a month to catch him. When we finally did, we found dozens of mouse turds on top and behind the fridge. We managed to move the fridge ourselves.

Ours is just a thick layer of dust and grease. Yuck.

I am afraid to look!

Respirator! Don’t forget the mold and dust.

Under and behind the fridge are my icks.

forgot a helmet… painkiller meds are available… somewhere.

I clean the top twice yearly, having once waited for a couple of years before doing it. Don’t ever want to do that again. As for underneath, I do that twice yearly too. Have to move the fridge away from the wall in order to vacuum the coils anyway. They get covered with dust and ?? which keeps the fridge from working as well as it should. Kind of like changing the filter on the furnace.

What’s behind the refrigerator’s front grill and in the evaporation pan that is the worst. Top is usually papers, dust, and greasy lint.

How did the kids learn how dirty it was?

A mask would actually be appropriate here.

Not in our house…all of that: - top, both the sides, and under- get cleaned &/or vacuumed every single week. Same goes for the stove.

Our refrigerator and our freezer both go up to the bottom of our cabinets so cleaning them is unnecessary, thank goodness

A friend of mine used to pull out his fridge once a year, clean it and wax it. Worked on all his cars, trucks and construction equipment, built his own house, tiled and heated his chicken coop. Yeah one of those guys.

Underneath and behind it is worse.

My kitchen cabinets don’t go all the way to the ceiling, and they’re a bit worse than the top of the fridge.

I rarely go to clean top of our fridge, I also would need a ladder.

I thought she was getting ready to clean Hammie’s room.

Please do not remind me that it is “spring cleaning time!!” Groan….

They’ll have to name her Dusty.

Boots?

My refrigerator is very small, and the top of it is where I keep my toaster oven, fan and vitamin containers. So it’s easy to keep clean with the occasional swipe of a dish rag.
