Why? The kid is developing an imagination and creativity not to mention self amusement. Plus she isn’t glued to some eye bleeding screen full of all kinds of false info with no explanation. Then again, I am the one that supports dogs bowls (clean) for feeding new toddlers…
John Adams: Mark me, Franklin… if we give in on this issue, posterity will never forgive us. Dr. Benjamin Franklin: That’s probably true, but we won’t hear a thing, we’ll be long gone. (“1776,” Broadway musical)
Don’t worry, Wanda. She’ll have completely forgotten about pretending the robot vacuum was a dog (or all the other people who didn’t have dogs as toddlers will say the same exact thing and Wren’s therapist will throw her out because they’re so sick of dealing with that problem), and go on and on about how her brother and sister attempted at murdering each other every day, and how she was always caught in the middle of that.

I doubt she’ll care about bonding with a roomba when she has worse things to deal with as she grows up

Aack, when’d she learn to walk (where have I been?)
The Quiet One about 2 years ago
I hardly think that is something she will talk to her therapist about. There will be a lot worse things to talk about.

Because that’s what real parenting is all about, worrying about what others think of you.
