Another view from the Alternate Universe. Voting is not a disease, although the RWers treat it like such for certain individuals.
You already registered to vote, and provided credentials to do so, and voter fraud is so minuscule to be almost nonexistent. Passing around diseases in school happens to a much greater degree.
Most people coming to vote don’t threaten the school board they’ll be bring all their guns, locked and loaded, if the school continues to take the kids’ health seriously.
The number of child abductions in the US is higher by far than the number of proven cases of voter fraud. And nobody ever died because a vote was fraudulently cast in their name.
Back to the “cartoon”… For the safety of children schools need to know who is picking up the child/children. Usually, the person should be on a list made by the parent(s). “At the federal level, the Help America Vote Act of 2002 requires a voter ID for all new voters in federal elections who registered by mail and who did not provide a driver’s license number or the last four digits of a Social Security number that was matched against government records.1 Though state laws requiring some sort of identification at voting polls go back to 1950, no state required a voter to produce a government-issued photo ID as a condition for voting before the 2006 elections.” – Wikipedia (Coincidentally 2006 election Democrats won both houses)
Al is equating a possible single fraudulent vote out of thousands if not millions to the possible kidnapping of a child. I guess that is the same thing in Trump World…
I need a photo ID to vote in my state, while other states don’t require it.
So what is Al recommending? That there should be a “Federal” standard across all states for access to the Polls? Standardized the rules in every state so the people all have the same access to the polls? Wow. Sounds like a Voting Rights Bill the Democrats put forth.
Hey, Al, where is this toon’s state? I can’t think of a state that doesn’t use photo ID for voting. It seems to be quite common now. Plus there’s the signature verification stage, and then you get to vote according the the methods used at the polling place.

If the person registered to vote, THEY ALREADY SHOWED THEIR ID, and they will need to sign the ballot, which will be matched to the signature on file.
Votes are NOT CONTAGEOUS!
Right wing idiocy, on the other hand, is more contagious than pink eye, as demonstrated by Al.

Bet I can show you more evidence of fake parents trying to take kids than you can show me of voter fraud.

Poor Al. He’s upset that he can no longer abduct children from schools.

One more thing for Trump Disciple Goodwyn to LIE about.
IDs are in fact required at most elementary and preschools when non parents pick up their kids.
Naturally, Trump Disciples believe that’s worse than the holocaust.

Requiring ID to vote solves nothing, protects nothing. Requiring it to pick up your kids prevents kidnapping. How did you get this backwards?

You have to have ID to get WELFARE.

Gosh! A “two-fer” from Goodwyn! He ridicules voting practices and sensible health measures in the same toon!
