Learn from it, girl: Don’t ever vote for the socialists. The good news is: Trump will restore fairness in 2024.

You can understand how, you know, OUTRAGED!!, Varvel and other Trump Disciples are after their decades of undying support for and contributions to women’s sports.

So, how many of you actually know of a person who was “assigned male at birth” trying out for a girls team? Go ahead and comment. I’m not talking about “heard about” or “Fox News says”: Actual knowledge of such a person.

Now imagine a place where a phenomenon that rare in real life is so common that “assigned female at birth” people are prevented from playing on the team. Yep, that’s right: Such a place is only in the dreams of right wing commentators who are trying to whip up outrage over something that is simply not happening.

Varvel and his incessant conspiracy theories. How many sports are taken over by transgender athletes? Thought so.

But “2AndFour” will be along to try and bolster piece of detritus with his inane one-liner dump-and-run comment.

Just wait until a “biological male that thinks is a female” plays in the WNBA. Imagine Lebron making the decision to change from male to female. At least there will be a lot more dunks in the WNBA.

Ok, it’s not quite that bad, but it does happen and it’s only going to continue to happen even more if it’s allowed. It’s simply unfair and shouldn’t happen at all.

Hey, remember last year when Varvel and the rest of the right wing were all up in arms over a trans weight lifter competing in the Olympics? She not only didn’t medal, she came in last in her event.

Again, the Olympics and NCAA have allowed trans female athletes to compete for over a decade, and miraculously, trans athletes are not dominating women’s sports. It’s almost as if right-wingers don’t know what the hell they’re talking about.

Carmel High-School girl’s swim team had it’s 35th straight championship season last year, and is heading for 36, this year.

I guess Varvie wants all those young ladies to have a public examination, both phenotypic and genotypic, to ensure … purity of essence.

I wonder if the FORMER President will be on hand as an impartial observer

One could imagine conservative trained little girls complained about the same thing when the Williams sisters started playing Tennis. Right?

Can you name on other area of life in America where conservatives support women’s rights? Didn’t think so.

It’s a real danger to our girls! Just like those brown hordes streaming over the border Trump warned about. Don’t know about you, but five years later I haven’t seen any brown hordes. I suspect out of 60 million or so girls in sports there might be 6 or 7 transgenders trying to be included.

Making up an issue and pretending to solve it as if you are righteous and benevolent. I don’t think the United States will survive the hatred of conservatives.

Maybe there should be men’s, women’s, male trans and female trans’s sports categories?

Mr. Varvel, once again, was able to trigger the intellectually limited left respond. Unable to get the bigger picture, this motion will start slowly and will gain traction as the brainwashed generation moved up the ladder. For those who wouldn’t get the point, just think LGBTQ2+. They went from “right to get married” to “we want an LGBTQ2+ month”. Open your eyes.

I honestly don’t think Varvel cares about girls sports or anything of that nature. He gives the impression that his motivation is to defend girls, but his motivation is to attack the transgender community.

I think liberals are missing an important distinction here: the difference between gender and sex.

Our society operated for centuries on the notion that these were one and the same. But recent revelations have shown us they are not. One might be born one sex but that person’s gender might be otherwise. I’m grateful we’re finally coming to grips with this and these people can be more likely to settle their internal questions and be happy with them. In short, if someone was born a male but identifies differently, I’m fine with addressing that person accordingly.

But not with sports. Our sports competitions, leagues, associations, etc. have almost always been bifurcated. But by sex, not gender. This is to create fair competition for women, placing them on a level playing field, as it were. But people born male but identify otherwise throw off this balance if we allow gender to be bifurcating criterion.

This is true even with people who go through a surgical transition. Their sex doesn’t change, even though their appearance does. It’s their gender that changes, and we don’t split sports competition by gender. We split it by sex.

Now, if you want to change all of that regarding sports and who plays what (and whom), fine. But acknowledge that what you are doing is changing the game for people whose sex is woman.

I wonder how they would react to a person who had been female at birth, had a sex change to include genital modification, trying out for a girls’ team

So, Varvel wants us to believe that an entire team’s worth of boys would choose the painful reality of coming out as transsexual just to be known as people who couldn’t hack it on the boy’s team so they tried out for the girl’s team?

    Really.

There was a recent case that probably prompted this cartoon. Parents are complaining about a trans girl who is setting records on the girls swim team. The absurd thing is they’re saying that her presence crushes the dreams of all the girls, since otherwise they could dream of winning the Olympics. One dad went so far as to say there was no motivation if they couldn’t imagine themselves on the podium (as if only one person gets to medal). Olympians and transsexuals do have one thing in common: they are very rare. We had one future Olympian on the boys swim team at my high school; it was laughable to think of anyone competing with him. He’d swim butterfly for the 500 yard freestyle and still lap the second best swimmer (who was doing front crawl) twice. Didn’t slow my brother down; he couldn’t dream of competing with this boy, but he still worked hard and did his best and went on to compete at the college level.

If you think someone being better than your child will ruin her motivation, you’ve obviously done a terrible job of preparing her for serious athletics. You’ve taught her to be a quitter, really, and that winning is the only thing that matters. Winning is important, don’t get me wrong — but what’s most important is perseverance. It’s a terrible message to send them, that they might as well give up if they can’t be in first place.
