I’m not really into “metooism” but jumping all over this small error while embracing much worse from the EX “president” is beyond despicable.

Apparently Varvel doesn’t remember the “shithole countries” comments made by the last guy or any of the other insults from the Q-publicans. Meanwhile Trump is trying to start a race war by telling people at his rally the other night that the government is only giving COVID vaccines to black people and not to whites.

Much ado about nothing!! If that was me, I’d use a “different” word – PIZDA!!! Thank you and good night!!!

Poor Gary. Had such a deaf ear during the last Occupant’s tenure, and yet is so sensitive about everything Biden says, no matter how true.

I guess 2AndFour will be along shortly to give himself a little fellatio in the form of a supportive comment under the guise of “anonymity”.

It takes a real man to own up to his shortcomings and call to apologize. Mature people admit mistakes and extend the hand of friendship, even to less friendly people. That’s how people should be.

Varvel is just, you know, OUTRAGED about any lack of civility by a president.

He totally admires and prefers how Putin deals with opponents. He has them poisoned or shot, but he does it very civilly.

Didn’t President “Potty Mouth” Biden say that he would fire anyone on his staff that would mistreat people? Another broken promise by “Potty Mouth” Biden because he should fire himself. He most likely says this kind of things in private about conservatives. This is Biden’s true self.

I wish this could be laid solely at the foot of Biden and the democrats, but it can’t. There is no more civility in our politics; no more statesmen (or women) who can use the power of language and thought to make a cogent, rational argument. Now there’s only the sharp barb, the strategically placed f-bomb, and the glaring “in your face” insult. We’ve become a nation of 4th graders governed by a pack of 5th graders.

And yes, look deeply enough into my own comments and I’m sure I’ve been guilty of it, too. It’s still a sad commentary on the state of our nation and its politics.

Don’t know what all the fuss is about… I don’t hear anyone arguing that Joe was wrong. Facts are facts, perhaps that is what upsets our republican friends.

Bravo Mr. Varvel. Once again the communists have been triggered. The soft question about inflation was too aggressive for the Dipper in Chief. Vladimir is impressed by his soft skin.

Foul language by Biden is “lack of civility” hypocrisy. Foul language (or worse) by Trump is “bold leadership” and being “forthright” sincerity. Yada yada propaganda. Please start using your frontal lobes, not just your lizard brain Mr Varvel.

Everyone including Varvel missed Biden’s important response before this. He was asked if inflation was a political liability before the elections. Biden’s response was, no, it’s an asset…more inflation.

Biden made the pledge. And he brags that he stands by his word. Trump would be a fool to make a similar pledge as he would break it immediately. At least we could trust Trump to be true to himself.

You have to remember, Gary Varvel has to “please” his “real boss”, the “Orange One”. So, the more drivel Gary puts out, the more he thinks his “Boss” is pleased.

With all the “bathroom language” Trump used (“S***hole countries”, grab them by the you know what, etc), the MAGA crowd getting on Biden’s case for using a curse phrase is laughable. Everyone lets loose a curse word or two now and then. But Trump’s use of language would have made even South Park’s Eric Cartman blush!
