What white right wingers miss, and I think it might be so ingrained that they simply CANNOT see it, is that in some places the cops are more dangerous to regular (black) people than any other gang, Thus making “defund the police” a perfectly apt catch-phrase… IN THOSE PLACES.

The other thing they miss, and I’m a little less sure it’s not on purpose, is that we are asking cops, who are trained at confrontation, to do all kinds of things that they’re not trained for, and in fact may be trained against. In cities where there are social/medical teams who are available to the community WHO ARE NOT COPS, the outcomes are BOTH less expensive AND better than they are in “copy primary” locations.

A bit of an exaggeration from Lisa, but not unexpected. The majority of Progressives would settle for removing police immunity for their actions. I, personally, would like to see them restricted to 6 shot revolvers, instead of 14 shot machine pistols.

Biden Afghan ‘Refugee’ Convicted of Sexually Assaulting 3-Year-Old Girl at Quantico Base – Argued His Conduct Was ‘Acceptable in His Culture’

Two US Marines witnessed Tariq kissing the little girl and molesting her.

Mohammed Tariq argued through interpreters that he did nothing wrong because molesting children is “part of his culture.”

“People who come to our country seeking haven from tyranny and terrorism deserve to live here in safety,” US Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia Jessica Aber said in a statement Monday.

Child brides also arrived in the United States because of Joe Biden’s botched withdrawal and frantic evacuation of Afghans.

Finally, something newsworthy from the Biden White House spokesperson.

Jen Psaki finally admitted that the Democrat Party’s campaign to defund the police increased crime in America.

Jen Psaki: “Gun violence is a big problem for the surge in crime. Underfunding of some police departments and their need for additional resources.”

Phoenix Officials Push to Defund the Police With Vaccine Mandates – Hundreds Expected To Quit – Police and Firefighters Ask AG Brnovich to Step In

The City of Phoenix is expecting hundreds of officers will leave the Phoenix Police Department because of the vaccine mandate.

Phoenix already has fewer officers on the street than in 2008 despite the large increase in population.

Despite the growing threat to public safety, radical leftist Mayor Kate Gallego and Councilmembers Carlos Garcia and Yassamin Ansari advocate for defunding the police.

Mayor Lori Lightfoot also tried this in Chicago. It didn’t work so well.

Crime is soaring in cities where police departments have been defunded, reports Fox News.

More than 20 major cities have reduced their police budgets in some form, though the scale and circumstances vary.

In Austin, where the city council voted to cut roughly one-third of the city’s $434 million police budget, aggravated assault reports were up 26 percent in 2021 as of February, compared with the same period last year.

‘’We are showing the country how reinvestments from the police budget can actually make many people’s lives so much better and safer,’’ Gregorio Casar, a councilmember in Austin, Texas, who helped pass the major cut, told the Guardian on March 11. ‘’This will build momentum for changes to police budgets across the country.’’-Newsmax

Then…Fighting the backlash and ‘fear mongering’One of the greatest obstacles to defunding law enforcement agencies are powerful police unions, which have long opposed reforms and negotiated strong protections in their contracts that typically make it impossible for cities to terminate or lay off officers.

Unions have launched aggressive PR campaigns to counter the movement. In Austin, the Texas Municipal Police Association (TMPA) created highway billboards saying “Warning! Austin Police Defunded, Enter at Your Own Risk” and “Limited Support Next 20 Miles” – and put up the signs in September, before the new budget had gone into effect.

The Republican governor of Texas, Greg Abbott, has also repeatedly threatened to try to force Austin to restore its police budget through legislation, and other state Republicans have spread misinformation about crime rates in the city.-The Guardian

Random Attacks Highlight Failures of Progressive Law Enforcement, Homeless Policies

It was the weekend of the allegedly “random” murders of helpless, law-abiding women by violent homeless men with criminal records and histories of mental illness who had somehow been given the freedom to roam city streets.

And it goes without saying that it’s time to end the “defund the police” movement. Eric Adams, New York City’s new mayor, has taken some steps in that direction, promising to beef up law enforcement in the city’s transit system and to put more beat cops onto the streets. No one should have to die because progressive authorities were reluctant to punish the perpetrators for their earlier crimes. And no one should ever, ever feel too embarrassed about what progressives might think to dial 911 when something looks seriously wrong.Charlotte Allen, Epoch Times Viewpoints

Yeah, what could go wrong? From: We Are a Country in Crisis

The reports are that most of the people are being processed for deportation. That sounds like these illegal immigrants are on the way out. That is not the case. For the Biden Administration, “processed” for deportation for thousands of the illegal crossers means they were released after being given either a Notice to Appear (with a specific court date) or a Notice to Report, which means the immigrants are to report to an immigration office at their convenience. Statistics show that most of the people given this paperwork never report. They are simply released into the United States. Additionally, beginning last February, the Biden Administration ordered ICE not to track any of them down unless—and only unless—they are on a terror watchlist or have been previously convicted of a violent felony. This means that thousands of people who recently crossed our border are released without even knowing if they are violent felons or on a terror watchlist. This is unbelievable. In addition, these illegal immigrants are released without being given a COVID test unless they are symptomatic; and they are not required to be vaccinated. This is not only a national security issue, but also a humanitarian, public safety, and health crisis. -ACLJ

Why are there no-knock warrants approved where the police throw in flash-bombs?

Biden’s Deputy National Security Adviser Says Americans Should Care About Ukraine Because ‘Borders Should be Inviolate” — As Record 518,360 Illegals Invade US Border in First Fiscal Quarter of YearBy Jim Hoft

178,840 illegals were apprehended at the US border in December — a new record. In the first quarter of this fiscal year a record 518,360 illegals have been apprehended at the US southern border with Mexico — also a new record.

The US southern border under Joe Biden is WIDE OPEN and the world knows it. The US has no borders, is no longer a sovereign nation. And taxpayers are expected to continue to provide the millions of illegals flooding across the border with food, shelter, education, cash and free flights.

But for some reason, the Biden Regime demands that Ukraine retain its sovereign border with Russia. You just can’t make this up.

SEATTLE—Democrats in Washington state rode the wave of anti-police sentiment after the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis. Their goal was to “reimagine policing,” and it’s exactly what they did.

Consequently, Washington experienced a surge of violent crime. Now Republicans, and even some Democrats, are rushing to fix as much as possible.

Now Democrats are hastily trying to fix some of their hastily passed legislation. It’s quite ironic. Crime already has been on the rise in Washington’s most densely populated cities and counties.

King County, home to Seattle, exceeded 2020’s violent crime rate by October 2021. Pierce County also saw a violent 2021, thanks in part to a surge in homicides in Tacoma. And the Spokane area was the scene of more homicide investigations than at any other point in its history.

What’s driving the crime surge? A light-on-crime approach favored by partisans such as top King County prosecutor Dan Satterberg. In lieu of jail time, the prosecuting attorney’s office pushes scores of felons into “restorative justice” programs run by police and prison abolitionists.

It’s no wonder the county has experienced a rise in crime as Satterberg implemented this approach.

Making matters worse, a considerable staffing crisis continues to plague law enforcement agencies. Astonishingly, the Seattle Police Department is operating without 350 officers since 2020, leaving a total of 880 deployable officers to police the city.

In Tacoma, it’s nearly as bad. The department confirmed it lost 50 officers in 2021, leaving the city with 141 officers assigned to patrol (not including traffic officers or homeless outreach teams), and a total of 315 commissioned officers. The Tacoma force is budgeted for 365.-The Daily Signal

A Worsening CrisisAnd although some legislative fixes may occur, it doesn’t stop Washington’s Democrat-run cities from implementing their own policies to reimagine policing.

In Seattle, for example, the police department banned many traffic stops, citing “equity” concerns. It’s a belated Christmas present for car thieves.

Seattle voters also pushed a referendum over the finish line to lose their right to elect the King County sheriff.

Now, King County Executive Dow Constantine, who is far left, appoints the sheriff. Constantine, who pressed Johanknecht to retire last year over a deputy’s fatal shooting of a 20-year-old man, doesn’t believe in incarceration for felonious youths who drive much of the crime in the South Sound cities.

So where does policing in Washington stand? Severely damaged. And law-abiding citizens suffer the most.

Radical laws damaged policing, potentially beyond repair, and emboldened criminals. It will take a Herculean effort to make criminals retreat, while crimes fueled by the homeless or the addicted show no signs of slowing down.

And with so few police recruits entering a profession that has been so demonized by leftist activists and politicians, it seems likely that this crisis will worsen before it gets better. What will be left of the Evergreen State at that point?-The Daily Signal

BuzzFeed: Ukrainian Source Says Americans ‘Safer in Kyiv than They Are in Los Angeles’

Americans are safer in the Ukrainian city of Kyiv than they are in some dangerous American cities, such as Los Angeles, a source purportedly close to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky expressed on Monday, according to BuzzFeed.

“Americans are safer in Kyiv than they are in Los Angeles … or any other crime-ridden city in the US,” BuzzFeed reported the source said.

The comment came after President Joe Biden authorized the departure of U.S. embassy employees in Ukraine and ordered their family members to leave the country amid threats of Russian aggression.

“The fact that the US was the first one to announce this is extremely disappointing and quite frankly these Americans are safer in Kyiv than they are in Los Angeles … or any other crime-ridden city in the US,” the source reportedly said.

Crime is increasing in Democrat cities.

For instance, Los Angeles homicides increased 46.7 percent in 2021 compared to 2019, “while shooting victims are up 51.4%, according to police data,” the Los Angeles Times reported.

Democrats have rallied around controversial San Francisco District Attorney Chesa Boudin, who is facing a recall election in June as crime continues to soar in the city and he continues to pursue radical reforms to policing and prosecution.

Boudin, the son of a convicted member of the Weather Underground terrorist group, was elected in 2019 on promises to pursue criminal justice reform, including a pledge to stop prosecuting “quality of life” crimes such as public urination.

He immediately caused controversy by firing experienced anti-gang prosecutors and dropping charges against a man who attacked police. His policies became more controversial as crimes, including mass looting, continued to spread in the city.

When left-wing Mayor London Breed, who initially backed the “Defund the Police” movement, changed her mind and called for a state of emergency in the drug-infested Tenderloin district, Boudin spoke out in opposition to her plan. “Arresting people who are addicted to drugs, jailing people who have mental health struggles, putting folks who are vending hot dogs or other food on the streets in cages will not solve these problems, and they are certainly not the only tools available,” he said.

Late last year, Boudin’s opponents gathered enough signatures to force a recall election against him. Breitbart News

It’s all out… a good read after “The Laptop from Hell”

‘Red-Handed’ Contains 1,093 Endnotes, No Unnamed Sources

Schweizer’s track record investigating both Republicans and Democrats is well-established, winning him a unique mix of bipartisan praise for his investigative work from both the left and the right. After the release of Clinton Cash, liberal columnist Eleanor Clift called Schweizer “an equal-opportunity investigator, snaring Republicans as well as Democrats.” Clift added: “It’s a mistake for the Clinton campaign to write off conservative author Peter Schweizer as a right-wing hack. It won’t work, and it’s not true.” Similarly, Harvard Law School Professor Lawrence Lessing wrote that “on any fair reading, the pattern of behavior that Schweizer has charged is corruption.”

On the right, Schweizer has also won praise, including from conservative radio and TV host Mark Levin who said Schweizer should receive the Medal of Freedom for his excellence in journalism. In January of 2021, Rush Limbaugh called Schweizer “a renowned investigator” who “has not been wrong on any of his years and years of reporting on the Bidens.”

The Bidens are a national security threat, you think they care about supporting police? Remember this beauty?

“I would like to make clear that the emails, text messages, and other evidence that I have provided came from my own phones or computers and that those documents have been authenticated by an independent, nationally recognized forensic analysis firm,” he said. “Moreover, the suggestion that I would provide falsified documents to the [United States] Senate and the Department of Justice is patently absurd.”

“The media should focus on the very serious national security issues raised by the evidence I have provided, instead of ignoring this issue or writing process stories to serve as a distraction to help their favored candidate,” Bobulinsk added. “History will not judge kindly those in the media that are sweeping under the rug one of the most significant and legitimate national security scandals involving a candidate for the presidency.”

Earlier this month, Bobulinski came forward to accuse the former vice president of lying about his involvement in his son’s business dealings. Bobulinski claims that he met the Bidens in 2017 and became involved in a venture with Hunter and the former vice president’s younger brother, Jim.

Since coming forward, Bobulinski has agreed to cooperate with an ongoing probe the Senate Homeland Security Committee has into the Biden family’s business ventures. Staffers for Sen. Ron Johnson, the committee’s chairman, told the Daily Caller earlier this week that as of now the information that Bobulinski has provided to the committee appears to be credible and has been verified.

On Friday, Bobulinksi told the Sinclair Broadcast Group that he’s also been interviewed by the Federal Bureau of Investigation regarding his ties to the Bidens and his knowledge of Hunter Biden’s tenure on the board of directors of Burisma Holdings, a Ukrainian natural gas conglomerate.-Breitbart

Hunter Biden had developed a close working relationship with CEFC’s Chairman and majority owner Ye Jianming beginning at the end of 2015 after associates put them in touch. Ye had a number of ties to Chinese military intelligence and his company provided energy to China’s People’s Liberation Army.

Despite those alarming links, Hunter became Ye’s personal counsel in the U.S., essentially becoming a representative for “an intelligence- and military-linked Chinese company that was supporting voices calling for an aggressive military posture against the United States and its allies,” according to the book.

Hunter Biden and his family were also involved in CEFC’s plans to invest in U.S. infrastructure through two entities — Hudson West IV and SinoHawk. In fact, Biden made it clear to Tony Bobulinski, a financial planner he brought in to help with the infrastructure efforts, that his family was integral to the effort.

After Hunter was unhappy with the payment package he was going to receive from the venture — an $850,000 salary and 20 percent equity stake, as well as 10 percent of the equity for “the Big Guy [Joe Biden]” — he wrote to Bobulinski that Ye and his company are “both coming to be MY partner and to be partners with the Biden.”

United front groups often serve as covers for Chinese intelligence operations, Schweizer notes. According to a 2018 U.S.-China Economic and Security Review Commission report, China uses the groups work to “co-opt and neutralize source of potential opposition to the policies and authority of its ruling Chinese Communist Party.”

Despite these links, Hunter Biden and Dong on September 8, 2017, were able to apply for secure a line of credit and add James Biden and his wife, Sara Biden, as authorized users for the credit cards on the account. James and Sara Biden then spent $100,000 on luxury items.

In addition to Ye and Dong, CEFC had another Chinese intelligence-linked man in the Bidens’ orbit — Patrick Ho, who Hunter Biden called “the f**king spy chief of China” in a leaked phone call.

Ho was one of Ye’s “top lieutenants” and a senior executive with China Energy Fund Committee, CEFC’s nonprofit think tank. Ho had also once been the home affairs secretary in Hong Kong and was also a “tireless advocate” for Chinese Communist Party Chairman Xi Jinping’s “signature venture” at the United Nations.

Shortly after plans were in place to put Dong in a shared office space with the Biden family, Ho was arrested in New York City on bribery charges by the FBI in November 2017.

Ho had reportedly offered money to African officials as part of an operation involving channelling illicit payments to UN diplomats.

One of Ho’s first phone calls from jail was to James Biden, looking for Hunter Biden. CEFC then hired Hunter Biden to provide legal representation in the case, despite his lack of a background in criminal defense law. CEFC paid a $1 million retainer to Biden’s LLC, Owasco. Ho pleaded guilty and went to jail.

However, before Ho went to jail, Hunter Biden was provided a Chinese assistant named JiaQi Bao. Her master’s degree from China’s Tsinghua University was financed by the Chinese government, and she worked for the Chinese government’s National Development and reform Commission, which is responsible for the management of China’s economy.

According to Schweizer, Bao offered Hunter Biden advice on “everything from energy deals to his father’s presidential campaign.” She also handled a “monthly wire instruction” concerning the transfer of financial payments.

When Hudson West folded, she told Hunter, “Whatever money from Hudson West, please take them, take as much as possible or figure out a way to spend them for your own benefit … just take it and keep as much as possible.”

Red-Handed was published by Harper-Collins. Schweizer is the president of the nonpartisan Government Accountability Institute (GAI) and a senior contributor to Breitbart News.

Biden connected Burisma Holdings and Boies Schiller Flexner in April 2014, shortly after he joined the energy company’s board of directors. Burisma paid Biden and a business partner, Devon Archer, more than $80,000 a month to help the company burnish its reputation in the West and scout out energy deals. Biden’s board position has come under scrutiny because of his father’s role at the time leading the Obama administration’s diplomatic talks with Ukraine.

King took the lead in developing Boies Schiller Flexner’s strategy for Burisma, according to emails from Biden’s laptop obtained by the Free Beacon. King was a member of the firm’s Crisis Management and Government Response Team. Biden referred Burisma to the team. Other emails show that a recent Justice Department nominee, Hampton Dellinger, worked on the crisis management team at Boies Schiller Flexner.

King wrote in the May 2014 emails that she wanted to contact State Department officials to “‘update’ them on Burisma’s current situation.” She also told Burisma executive Vadym Pozharskyi that she planned to attend meetings with government officials alongside David Leiter, the owner of ML Strategies.Boies Schiller Flexner has come under scrutiny in recent years for its behind-the-scenes influence activities. The company hired Black Cube, an Israeli private intelligence firm, to spy on victims of Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein. David Boies, the founder of the law firm, represented Theranos, a blood test maker whose owner was indicted for defrauding the government. A Wall Street Journal reporter who published a series of exposés on Theranos has said that Boies and King tried to pressure the paper to kill negative stories about Theranos.

King temporarily left Boies Schiller Flexner in 2015 to serve as general counsel for Theranos.-Washington Free Beacon

GOP Senators Slam Biden’s Expected Police Reform Order

Biden could be seen as taking steps to appease progressives and liberal activists via executive orders after his roughly $2 trillion social spending and climate legislation stalled in Congress.

Lawmakers have failed to advance police reform after making sporadic attempts to do so in recent years.

Sen. Tim Scott, R-S.C., promoted reform legislation that included banning chokeholds by federal law enforcement officers and mandating more reporting on police use of force nationwide. Senate Democrats, claiming Scott’s legislation didn’t go far enough, blocked the bill in June 2020.

Negotiations ended this past September after Scott refused to tie police funding to a range of reform requirements.

“I offered to introduce a bill that included our areas of compromise — a bill that activists and law enforcement alike could have supported,” Scott said when the talks broke down.

“Despite having plenty of agreement, Democrats said no because they could not let go of their push to defund our law enforcement.”-Newsmax

A question to all you right wing nuts who, like your representatives in congress are pretending to be outraged by a freshmen representative’s blunder, but when the rubber hit the road and you had the opportunity to stand up and honor, thank, the Capital police 21 you refused to do so. That tells me you are frauds.

Most progressive policies have overwhelming public support. Thank god we have the Senate where good ideas go to die.
