It’s also has a little teeny bit to do with good ol’ Rootin’ Tootin’ Shootin’ Putin (Rump’s all time favorite butt to kiss) being on the border of another “incursion” and of course the Kim & the North Koreans (#2 – in oh so many ways – on the Rumpy Butt Kiss *hit Parade) playing with their version of an intercontinental missile.
So who owns 90% of American stocks? The very rich, plus insurance companies, retirement funds, maybe some Wall Street investment companies. The average American may have a few shares, from where he works, a few shares from an IRA, but the total is miniscule, overall. So scr**w them.
Many jobs lost when businesses moved to nations in which they could exploit the workers. Lots of places out there looking for a burger flipper but it doesn’t quite pay enough nor offer health care and other benefits.
Fascist no-willie is right for once. The government printing press is stopping – it hasn’t been able to print any progressive and beneficial legislation, or legislation that helps all Americans instead of just the uber-wealthy since the reThuglicans have been blocking anything and everything that does not specifically and only benefit the rich.
We need to blow up the dam that’s stopping the watering of freedom, liberty, respect, and dignity for all Americans, and not just for the 1%’ers.
First off, the stock market is the economy for the rich. While it’s fortunes has an impact on the lives of ordinary Americans, it’s the rich who benefit directly.
Secondly, the stock market is currently doing quite well under Biden. Here’s an interesting article from MarketWatch:
Not enough corporate tax breaks and the companies bought all their own stock back to have a raging stock market. but that’s not the REAL economy anyway since the majority of people don’t have enough money to invest.

It is not right to just blame old Joe…it is entire administration that is responsible for the mess we are in. They are incompetents!

Apparently the S&P does very well under Democrats and not as well under Republicans. Who knew?

That would be because of Republicans that are stonewalling everything that would actually help all Americans.
