Polls are an admittedly poor way to determine ANYTHING! I’ve never seen a poll I felt totally comfortable with – The only “poll” Biden should ever pay attention to is the one asking the American public, who would you prefer having as president, Joe Biden or Donald Trump (or another republican) – but the question must be phrased as a specific choice.
Asking, "Do you think the country is on the wrong track? Or “Do you think the country is going in the wrong direction?” is just stupid, because any given answer doesn’t explain WHY. And the “why” is the important part!
Reality: He inherited a terrible mess and is actually performing quite well at executing the job of his Office.
Worse reality: American voters are likely fickle enough and shortsighted enough to go from this current frying pan back into the fire and elect a Republican as the next President.
Doesn’t say much for our curent education system. Where have all the educators gone? Gone to teachers every one. (A retired college Professor with a PhD in Education.)
These problems were inherited from Trump. The measure of president is not what he inherited and the events that occur during his presidency but how he works with those things.
Remember who signed the unilateral full withdrawal with no input from the Afghan government and no real promises from the Taliban, then unilaterally, and not part of any agreement, reduced the number of US Troops to an unsustainable level, stopped fully processing SIV visas for more than a year, and let the Taliban take over more than half the country before he left office.
