Quite right; being asked to wear a mask is EXACTLY the same as being run over by a tank in Ukrainia.

Not wearing one is the same as getting run over by a tank

The Guardian reported on a study that wearing a mask made men look more attractive to women. You should take advantage of that.

This does sound ludicrous, of course. Fear of losing life itself vs. fear of losing choice. And, to children that fear they might not get to eat today, our fear of losing the right to choose whether to wear a mask or not would seem to them like we were nuts. We do live in a very free land, and even with inflation, we still have shelves well stocked with all kinds of affordable foods. We might fear that milk may cost a dollar more this week, but at least we don’t have to worry whether they’ll be milk available at all.

If Putin was guarding the grocery store the GQP would make a lot more sense…

As a septuagenarian I grew up in an America where I was REQUIRED to sign up for the “draft” at age 18. That’s still the case today. However, today, no one is being required to wear a uniform or fight in a war unless he or she wants to, so, arguably, we are “freer” today than we were 50 years ago!

I don’t understand the whining of the idiots, imbeciles and morons.

I went to a friends fathers wake. We were some of the few wearing masks. Her father died of Covid.

One of her relatives was going on about how she has antibodies so is more protected than the vaccinated. Missing the point that if she had been vaccinated, she might not have caught Covid in the first place. I pretty much ignored her, as it was not an appropriate conversation at a wake. I could only wonder if she and her husband may have been the ones that gave my friends father Covid in the first place.

You can pick up a cat and remove it from the chair but you will have a much harder time putting a mask on an inconvenieced human.

I believe that the latest court decision outlawed companies from requiring masks. They can ask politely, I suppose. They look in strange places for justification for these odd decisions.
