Right wingers DO consider any agenda which attempts to assist ordinary people to be a contagion. It’s remarkable that people can look at a ‘toon such as this which is telling it EXACTLY AS THEY SEE IT, and still believe that they’re basically okay.

Funny, President Biden has been encouraging people to wear masks and get vaccinated. He has even made sure vaccines are available at no cost to all Americans. He’s now committed to distributing N95 masks at no cost to those that want them.

Republicans have been doing the exact opposite, even to the point of creating mandates against mandates for vaccines and masks. Insanity to blame President Biden for what Republicans are doing. Especially, when it comes to schools. Where Republicans want no masks or vaccine requirements in public schools, while sending their kids to private schools that have vaccine and mask requirements, that have also been doing remote schooling due to the Omicron breakout.

Republicans are detrimental to the health of the USA in so many different ways.

Not sure if this is supposed to be about Biden’s Covid response or if Gorrell is just using the virus to say the Biden presidency is a ‘contagion’ destroying America.

Gorrell and the GOP have been prolonging the pandemic and killing their own base, in order to make Democrats look bad, instead of encouraging vaccination, masking, and social distancing, you know things that would actually help end the pandemic. Business continue to suffer, because Americans cannot trust their fellow Americans to take simple measures to keep them safe.

We lost 2,996 people on 9/11/2001 to a terrorist attack and we completely change the way Airport Security works to prevent future terrorist attacks

We lost 2,990 people yesterday 1/18/2022 to Covid yet Gorrell and the GOP refuse to change anything to stop it.

I would guess a chief executive who encouraged violence, disrespect for others and for the rule of law, and who kissed the butts of dictators while slapping the face of our allies would be considered a more true threat.

Even H.L. Mencken, noted white supremacist, said this: “The men the American people admire most extravagantly are the most daring liars; the men they detest violently are those who try to tell the truth.” I doubt he and I would agree on who were the liars and who try to tell the truth, but still……

Thanks, Mr. Gorrell, for showing who you admire most extravagantly.

G.O.P. Fights Covid Mandates, Then Blames Biden as Cases Rise

Republicans have fought mask requirements and vaccine mandates for months, but as coronavirus infections again rise, they are blaming the president for failing to end the health crisis.

Representative Kevin McCarthy of California hit on many issues as he spoke on the House floor in an unsuccessful effort to thwart House passage of President Biden’s social safety net and climate change bill. But among his most audacious assertions was that Mr. Biden was to blame for the country’s failure to quell the pandemic.

Mr. McCarthy used this line of attack even as members of his own Republican Party have spent months flouting mask ordinances and blocking the president’s vaccine mandates, and the party’s base has undermined vaccination drives while rallying around those who refuse the vaccine. Intensive care units and morgues have been strained to capacity by the unvaccinated, a demographic dominated by those who voted last year for President Donald J. Trump.

The mis-info out there is that there was never a therapeutic treatment for Covid. Ivermectin and Hydroxychloroquine were SAFE and available and known-about from day 1. Big Pharma and Fauci are behind the Mask / Vaccine madness. Unvax’d are not spreading anything….
