Poor Wilberforce. I’d recommend counseling, but he is doomed to be the Born Loser’s son.

My mother had a different vow. It was incompatible with all my vows and she always got the last word.

I’ve got a bad feeling that things aren’t gonna go well for Wilberforce today at all !

Oh oh! Now he is going to be picked on at home and still have to go to school to be picked on some more!

how is not going to school a mistake? unless that was his first one today then he already screwed up his vow.

Well, Wilberforce, that vow is your first mistake. In my state, he could still go to school, just with the online K-12 school. Of course, many kids are online these days due to Covid.

My brother told Mom he could not go to school as his feet hurt. Mom told him he had his shoes on the wrong feet. To which he answered “But they are the only feet I have”. Still had to go to school.

Did he sign some kind of “non-compete” agreement?

I think that was the wrong answer Wilberforce!

It would be bad enough if it were the other kids who picked on Wilberforce at school, but in his case it’s the teachers who pick on him.

Blame it on Dad, they’ll understand.

Well, in one way on line school is better, because it eliminates the bullying that goes on in school. even from some of the teachers, because the parents can see what is being taught better, and how the teacher treats their kids! I once overheard two teachers laughing about how they tormented one of the MOTHERS!!

A nice attempt for a religious exemption for not going to school. However, the Church of Wilberforce is not a recognized faith as I understand it. But In this day and age with “anything goes”, who knows…..
