I agree with Adam. Very intense. Especially for me.

I was 2 weeks in the county hospital “enjoying” the food they served, which at times were literally inedible. Once I was served a chicken steak paddy that was so overcooked and tough that I literally could not cut it with the plastic serrated fork they included with it. Shoe leather would be easier. I was starving and had lost 20 pounds already.

I had a dream that night of being at some sort of outdoor feast at a park. Food on tables everywhere, steaks and cakes and potatoes and burgers and beans and much more. I was drooling over it all.

Then I woke up. Then I cried. What a nightmare.

I must say those VR devices are incredible. My favorite thing to do is to view google street view with it. The images are 360 degrees and one can ‘travel’ down the roads. It’s the closest I’ll ever get to travel the world.

I’d be glad that this silly arc is over, except a worse one may start on Monday.

I really do hope virtual reality goggles get better and cheaper. I want to indulge in the pretend world, but I don’t want to spend an arm and a leg to get the Betamax and have some VHS goggles take the future. (If you know what I’m talking about, sorry. If you dont’ that’s okay too.)

If they ever do break the “taste barrier”, VR people will either waste away or become enormous blobs in chairs.

There was a time I might have been able to eat as much as Adam, done my share of damage to a few all you can eat buffets

I can still eat a lot but I pay later, aging strikes again
