Keep it up and it might start getting warm just in select spots, like the seat of your pants.

That’s what I heard growing up. Now I tell the grandkids the same thing.

“Fine, we can turn up the heat and eat oatmeal for supper each night this week.”

“No problem,” Granny. (Walks into kitchen, opens oven door, and turns it to broil)

Layering clothing is more than a fashion statement. It holds body heat in. Running the vacuum and handwashing dishes are also great activities to warm one up.
