Despite the radical redistricting currently being done in many blue states (there’s a name for this sort of thing, I believe) I’m betting republicans will take the House. The large number of dem resignations aren’t helping.

Mediocre Mike seems to think that pointing out the truth is a recipe for disaster. He could be right, but that says an awful lot about Republicans.

While across town the analogous pair of Rs wearing oddly enough the same shirts continue to yell “Election fraud!” as they stand in their window.

    As seen here:

And the 40% of Americans who don’t belong to a party decide not to vote again

Because Mike Lester believes that stumbling over a date is so much worse than saying George Washington captured airports, talking about Andrew Jackson’s opinion of events after he died, claiming COVID would go away when the weather got warm, and putting Betsy DeVos in charge of education.

Most experts are expecting this wave of Covid cases to crest and recede in weeks (as opposed to months like other variants) and that cases will start dropping again within this coming February or so. Also, most of these cases thus far are either mild or asymptomatic (particularly if the patients are fully vaxxed) and the ones who are seriously ill from Covid aren’t vaxxed. Yes, that’s cold comfort to those who are pulling back because of the rise in cases. But this too shall pass. Hopefully, by mid-2022 or so, we can largely move on and then turn our attention to the midterms. I am hopeful that the Democrats can bounce back (if there’s a major turnaround in the case situation) and they can widen their majorities in both houses. History, though, is on the side of the party currently not in the White House gaining seats in both houses in midterms (the last time was 2002). But, even if that happens, the GOP could end up playing the foil to Biden the way earlier GOP majorities played the foil to Clinton and Obama. Both Clinton and Obama saw their parties lose control of the House and Senate in 1994 and 2010. But that didn’t stop either President from winning reelection in 1996 and 2012.

For example, the CDC Director Walensky herself stated, “What the vaccines can’t do anymore is prevent transmission.”

The pandemic continues to demonstrate how inadequate our health care delivery system is – regardless of who’s paying for it. We have been / are doing NOTHING to ensure future capacity for response.

Nantucket seems to ignore the LONG history of Democrat gerrymandering and the lies they tell. See how that works? Your blatant hypocrisy is on display for all to see.
