So lucky to live in a country where most people just cycle outside. And a friend does have such a peloton bike rig, but that’s mostly for days with extremely cold weather, or if he can’t go on a bike ride because he might be called in to work.

Woman at work went biking down the road and encountered a car door that someone opened innocently. She was in the hospital for quite a while. Then there are the people in cars that see you as fair game to run down. Trails are better but then people walking are in danger as many bikers come up behind them with no warning. If a walker should move sideways their are collisions.

What if that bike breaks off. Like, that woman pedals so hard, it becomes a real bike.

pelatons use to be $4k. I know because a manager in my office who is very health conscious looked at getting one. “What did you think?” I asked.

“It’s very nice” she said “it’s just not $4,000 worth of nice.”

About the only time the air outside is clean enough for bike riding is when it’s raining.

This is one human who messes down. It all ends up in a pile at my feet.

It’s ironic that we pay money to others so that we can do hard physical labor.

Uh. My road bike cost me 3,600 dollars and it is fiber carbon bike. If neighbors saw me riding this fiber carbon bike, they’ll be jealous of me.

Get your nose out of your cell phone and become aware of your surroundings and you’ll be a lot safer.

I prefer riding outside (during the 5-6 months the weather’s nice enough to do so), but replacing the rear tube at least four times last year after hitting metal/glass slivers got really old – I’ve heard they make kevlar-lined tires/tubes and may look into them this year…
